If a listing looks like fraud — fake photos, suspicious price, agent asking for money before a viewing — report it. Habivista's trust team reviews every report and acts fast on confirmed fraud.

How to report

  1. On the listing detail page, click the Report button (next to the Save / Share icons).
  2. Pick a reason — fake listing, scam agent, stolen photos, misrepresented property.
  3. Add a one-line note describing what tipped you off.
  4. Submit. The report goes to the moderation queue.

What happens next

  • A trust-team reviewer picks up your report within 4 working hours.
  • If confirmed fraud, the listing is unpublished, the agent's verified badge is paused, and the underlying account is locked pending investigation.
  • The reporter (you) gets an email when action is taken.
  • If we can't confirm, the listing stays up but is flagged for re-review and your report is kept on file. Multiple reports against the same listing escalate it.

What we can't do

  • Recover money already sent. If you've paid, file a police report and contact your bank within 24 hours; the fraud team will help with the paperwork at /support.
  • Punish people outside Habivista — we can ban accounts, but criminal action is the police's role.

You don't have to be 100% sure

Report anything that smells off. We'd rather investigate ten false alarms than miss one real scam. Reports are confidential — the agent never sees your name.
