Become a verified Habivista agent

Verified agents get a green badge across the platform, priority placement in search, the inbound lead inbox, and the right to list properties without per-listing approval.

The verification checklist

• Valid Ghana Card — front and back, clear photos.
• Agency registration — if you operate under an agency, the agency's registration certificate. Solo agents skip this step.
• Two professional references — names and contact details of two people who can vouch for your dealings (usually a past client and a registered colleague).
• A sample listing — submit one realistic listing as part of the application; we use it to assess your photo quality and description style.
• Statement of practice — a short paragraph explaining how you operate (commission norms, fees you charge, what you cover for clients).

Application flow

1. Sign up at /agent and choose "Apply for verification".
2. Upload the documents listed above.
3. Submit the sample listing.
4. Confirmation email when approval lands (usually within 48 working hours).

What happens after approval

• Green badge appears on your agent profile and every listing you publish.
• Buyer and tenant inquiries route to your lead inbox at /agent/leads.
• You can publish unlimited listings without per-listing review.
• Quarterly performance check (response time, listing quality, complaint rate). Below-bar agents have the badge paused until they re-qualify.

Costs

Verification is free. Habivista charges no listing fees and no commission. We make money on optional premium placement and partner products.
