How to apply for a mortgage on Habivista

A four-step pre-qualification flow that pre-fills with your profile and goes to multiple banks at once.

1 min read·Updated 10 May 2026

Habivista is an introducer, not a lender. We collect your profile once, share it — only after you opt in — with the partner banks you choose, and pass back their indicative rates and tenures. Acceptance moves off-platform for formal underwriting.

The four steps

  1. About you — Ghana Card details, marital status, dependents, employment, gross income.
  2. The property — pick from your saved Habivista listings or describe an off-platform property.
  3. The loan — requested amount in GHS or USD, preferred tenure, purpose (own occupation, rental, refinance).
  4. Consent — tick the banks you want to receive your file. The consent text is snapshot-stored on your application.

What you get back

Each partner bank reviews your file and sends an indicative offer — rate, tenure, deposit expectation, and any conditions (e.g., extra income evidence, valuer of choice). You accept one, decline the rest, and the bank reaches out directly to start formal application.

Withdraw anytime

You can withdraw your application at any moment from /mortgage/my-applications. All outstanding offers auto-decline and the partners are notified. No data is retained beyond 90 days of your last activity.

Start

Begin at /mortgage/apply. The first three screens work without an account — you only sign in to send.
